A web-development career since 1999
I have worked with websites and web systems since 1999. My background is rooted in PHP and backend development, but the work has always extended beyond code alone: content structure, search visibility, performance, integrations, hosting, and the day-to-day operation of business-critical websites.
In 2001, I began developing Thailand-villas.com. Over the following 21 years, I built and maintained its PHP booking engine, destination websites, property content, and search structure. I later spent 11 years developing and maintaining klik.villas, a property-management system for villa rentals. Both businesses were sold to another company in 2022, ending my involvement.
Those long-running projects shaped how I work today. I prefer to understand an existing system, preserve what already works, and improve the parts that create risk, friction, or unnecessary maintenance.
What I work on today
Webstudiet is a one-person company. Clients work directly with me, and I remain responsible for the technical decisions and implementation.
My current work includes PHP, WordPress, Laravel, Astro, APIs and integrations, Cloudflare, website performance, accessibility, and technical SEO. I mainly help smaller businesses that need experienced technical support without a large agency process. On the English site, that includes companies and international projects with a connection to Thailand.
I work remotely and use written scope, version control, reviewable changes, testing, and clear handover notes. The objective is a website or system that is easier to run after the work is complete.
